Volar Lunate Dislocation

Volar Lunate Dislocation is a rare condition in which the lunate bone of the wrist becomes misaligned due to sudden trauma—most often due to a fall while running or jumping, as in football or basketball.

Symptoms include pain, impaired movement and numbness, which are generally treated by surgical bone relocation and ligament reconstruction.
